The only place to go for me.

Update: I stopped in today to give this location another try and I?m sure glad I did. Marissa was fantastic. My experience was the exact opposite this time of the one I posted below. I?d delete what I wrote below but I think it also shows how a review (mine) can be overly critical. Everyone can have a bad day. Me. Employees. Everyone. Anyway, I have updated the rating to reflect the service I had today. Thank you Marissa. ???????????????????????? I've had very good and not-so-good experiences here... Ok, for the ladies reading this, you'll probably be thinking either: "No wonder why my ________ drops $30-$40 to go to a chain haircut place." OR "Wow, 1st world problems..!" OR something else that we have no idea about because you're all from Venus... ---------------------------------------- I usually get an MVP when I go to any sport clips. The good experience (5 stars) goes: haircut, hot towel, face massage, shampoo, scalp massage, conditioner, scalp massage, face / hand moisturizer, hair styling, shoulder / back massage... Very relaxing. Great haircut. ..all while watching sports... I think that's well worth the money. ---------------------------------------- The "not-so-good" experience (2 star) goes basically the same way except everything is rushed at 2x speed, the face massage is so hard that your jaw is slightly dislocated and you have a headache from way to much pressure on your temples. The water should be cold enough that you slightly pee your pants. Of course, in this bad experience scenario, the stylist won't inquire about the water temp on your scalp or the initial whole-body convulsion from your Polar Plunge(TM) experience. There will no scalp massage, and she'll probably skip the conditioner... The shampoo rinse should be wild enough to soak your shirt and the elapsed time for the entire shampoo / rinse process should be as fast as humanly possible. You should not feel relaxed in any way. The pee spot should start becoming visible on your pants by now. Oh, I almost forgot: before you get in the chair for the shirt-shower, the chair will be already reclined at the previous position and you'll have to jump-flop yourself into it because you will not be able sit and lean back normally. You will be uncomfortable. After you make your way back to the chair in the front, the massage will be 40 seconds (or less). Mine was exactly 37 seconds today. However, it was done with enough force to actually feel good (to me). At this point, the 'late' stylist will come into the shop. None of the other ladies will speak to her. It's going to be a long day for them all. While your haircut experience was 2x speed from start to finish, the wait time should be 4x to 10x your expectations. The board will be wrong (because it's based on all the stylists scheduled to work actually being there). There will be 2 (new) stylists and 2-4 people in the waiting room. When you checked the wait time before harding to that location, it said ZERO minute wait. You will grab your receipt to leave feedback from the website at the bottom of the receipt, but that website is down - I tried there first. So, that's the not-so-good experience. I would recommend a 'good' stylist at this location, but every time I go in there the ladies are new...or at least I've never seen the same one in there in 20 visits. Yes, it's taken me 20 visits to start thinking about the service I've been getting here. I would break it down like this: 5 stars = 2 times 4 stars = 8 times 3 stars = 5 times 2 stars = 5 times 1 star = never "I turn now. Good luck everybody else..!"

Just got done w/ my 1st time at this SportClips, and got the MVP experience from my stylist, Marissa. She was excellent. JUST enough conversation for it not to be awkward, but not talking my ear off. She also went above and beyond w/ the shampooing and the message. Last but not least, she recommended some products for me (AND used them on me) because of my thinning hair. Overall excellent, and I will be back. Thanks Marissa!
